The Heat Transfer Difference

Heat transfer is one of the most important factors in achieving cooling efficiencies.  Trane’s proprietary coil design, Spine Fin, has proven to be superior to any other technology.  The Spine Fin is the amazingly efficient outdoor coil in a Trane air conditioner.   It incorporates thousands of tiny spines bonded to continuous aluminum refrigerant tubing for more efficient coil.  By using all aluminum in the tubes as well as the fins, it have more corrosion resistant, longer lasting outdoor coil.  It is durable even in coastal and industrial locations where corrosion might mean a coil replacement in less than three years.

All Trane air conditioners installed by Service Air come with durable louvered panels that protect the outdoor coil and compressor.  Trane uses a special patented system to manufacturer the outdoor coil system called Spine Fin Coils.  It performs so well that it comes with a 10-Year warranty, as do their compressors.  Spine Fin coil is all aluminum (not copper and aluminum) which holds it efficiency over long periods of time, and has more leading edge for better efficiency than other plate fin coils.
